FAQs

I want nail art but I'm not sure what to book?

Feel free send over inspo pics to @taylasdream Instagram and I can let you know which category your nail art falls into. If you have a budget in mind please let me know so I can suggest alternative designs (if you don't have insta then feel free to visit my contact page for other ways to get in touch)

What are your policies with Covid?

Upon arrival please wash your hands or use hand gel provided. I use medical grade disinfectant between each client to ensure a hygienic service. I follow government guidelines, for more info you can visit Coronavirus (COVID-19) | Topic | GOV.WALES

Do I need long nails/ extensions to have nail art?

Definitely NOT! I can do nail art on any nail length, designs may need to be adjusted to fit the nail but anything is possible.

How long will my service take ?

This depends on what products you currently have on your nails, if you want extensions and if you'd like nail art. Extreme nail art can take a fair amount of time, not only do I have to paint precise designs, I have to paint on layers and cure each colour as I go.

I don't want to book online, do you take bookings over the phone?

Unfortunately all bookings must go through the booking system online as I cannot take deposits over the phone. The booking system is useful as you can access my availability and dates I have free and book a time that suits you.

How long will the nails last?

I cannot guarantee the length your nails will last, this will vary depending on the clients nail strength, what you do with your hands ( someone who works in a office may need infills every 3-4 weeks whereas someone who works in a manual job involving long periods of time where the hands are spent in water may need infills every 2 weeks). If you experience a chip or breakage within 5 days of the service then please book a 'nail fix' service which is free of charge on the booking service. You will need to contact and notify me about the breakage within the 5 days of the service. Any breakage or chip notified after 5 days will be charged at £3 per nail (not including art)

Are acrylics/ extensions bad for your nails?

The damage that occurs from acrylics/ nail services is from incorrect use of the efile not the acrylic itself as the acrylic is a product that sits on top of the nail. You can create damage when pulling off acrylics/ BIAB and gel which is why we advise a professional gentle removal.
